AP & SAT Subject Test Preparation

AP CalculusStudents who opt for AP and SAT Subject Test preparation are those who either need or want to show subject competencies to stand out to colleges or who attend schools offering many AP courses and must take AP classes to show colleges that they are taking advantage of the opportunities their school makes available. If such classes don't come easily, then a preparation class may make sense to prepare to do the best on the test.

AP Classroom Preparation: Spring

Classroom preparation for the AP tests generally starts shortly after the new year and leads up to the tests which occur in the last months of the academic year. The purpose of AP classroom preparation is to reinforce the core material but also, more importantly, to engage the student in the applications of the knowledge that the tests require. A course in the humanities will usually involve essay writing that demonstrates knowledge and analytical abilities within the subject. Often the public schools which craft their own AP courses struggle to present both the material and give adequate practice in its application within the time constraints of the school year. Consequently, Intelos Education structures its AP courses to provide some review of course material but especially emphasizes a students application of the material, whether in writing, analysis, or mathematical problem sets.

Courses that Intelos Education plans to offer in the Spring of 2016 include:

Calculus AB
